![]() ![]() ![]() I've read a few now and all of them have at one point mentioned the Silva Mind Control method. This is going to be a little different than most of the reviews I do as I've really stepped out of my normal reading to explore some books on manifestation, mental awareness and meditation. This review was originally posted on Books of My Heart There's definitely something in this but with the daily stuff going on like work, family etc.its a bit of a challenge to cultivate and/or keep up with. That said, I think I want to still give this shot again and maybe track it as part of my habit stack in future. It requires constant practice and application. So the techniques are not really a once off thing. The downside to all of this would be my own discipline.I don't do routine well and I noticed that if I skip a few days or procrastinate for a month maybe, the distractions come back and its back to square one. I think it would be more productive to attend the course instead. I was intrigued and excited after that one significant progress but I found it challenging to follow the other techniques in the book. I felt pretty good actually because I usually end up distracted after 10 minutes of meditating. ![]() The more I practiced the meditation technique by counting down from 100 to 1 everyday, the more my mind started to get steadily centered during meditation sessions. The one thing I can say that was extremely effective for me (at least) was improvement in focus/concerntration and the ability to remember better. Some of the questions I had when I read The Secret was explained here better and in a more practical sense. The book features many techniques for meditation, creative visualization and basically everything in a more "realistic" detail than what The Secret by Rhonda Byrne spewed. The lockdown was in effect but I think the bookshops were putting this out on sale.I thought to myself why the heck not learn mind control since I'm gonna be cooped up at home rest of the time anyway.so there you go. ![]()
